We are looking for an experience and agile front-end web developer to help us create beautiful software experiences for our clients and our internal projects.

As you'll be working on various high-profile corporate websites, it is essential that you are an experienced professional that has a keen eye for pixel-perfect detail. Great communication skills and a can-do atttitude are a must.

You will work with a progressive and open-minded team that cares deeply for their work as well as their co-workers. You will build up a great portfolio and also have the opportunity learn a lot from senior mentors in the field.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing, testing and supporting custom developed html/css/javascript websites on multiple platforms and browsers
  • Working closely with back-end and graphical design teams to churn out awesome web experiences
  • Provide accurate time estimates and report to the project manager on task progress
  • Attend daily status meetings

Position Requirements Qualifications:

  • Proven professional experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with the latest HTML5 and CSS3 features
  • 2+ years experience with Javascript
  • Experience with Word/Pages, Excel/Numbers and PDF's
  • Experience using GIT versioning control
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • The ability to effectively work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LessCSS

IT Project Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled project coordinator to complement our expanding team.

You will be responsible for helping coordinate design, development and quality assurance on high-profile corporate websites, so it is essential that you not only have a keen eye for detail, but are also a personable communicator and an organized task-master. A professional attitude is a must.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in managing large-scale technical desktop and mobile software projects
  • Manage small-scale, self-contained projects
  • Manage and perform quality assurance and issue regression tasks
  • Maintain detailed project plans, coordinate project activities, facilitate meetings, and track project issues to resolution
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of project-related documentation
  • Compile custom project status reports, documents, and presentations used by management
  • Monitor project progress and report status
  • Assist in developing presentation and project reports
  • Respond to miscellaneous operational issues and information requests
  • Responsible for providing support to the Project Manager and Company Directors

Position Requirements Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail that produces quality work
  • Maintain project plans and schedules
  • Identify project issues and risks throughout the project
  • Conduct micro level project administration
  • Ability to work with personnel across different disciplines and at different management levels

Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in the realm of Internet Technology/Computer Science
  • Minimum of two (2) or more years of experience in a project coordinator role
  • Broad range of IT knowledge, focussed on web and mobile software applications
  • Excellent understanding of technical internet concepts
  • Proven track record of working with internal and external resources to meet project objectives
  • Experience working with Basecamp or other similar project management tools
  • Experience with agile development methodologies

Coverall Crew is looking for very sharp, cross functional developers with strong Javascript/Coffeescript development experience to join our group in Vancouver. You will be working with a team of people who are developers at the core and display a type of passion only others like them can truly understand.

The ability to work independently and in a team is a must as this position will challenge you in many ways.

Both full time employee and contractor positions are available.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work closely with front-end and graphical design teams
  • Communicate with the project manager to provide regular progress updates

Position Requirements Qualifications:

  • 5+ years software development experience
  • 3+ years experience with Javascript/Coffeescript and related frameworks (Backbone.js, Underscore.js, jQuery etc...)
  • 3+ years experience with Ruby/Rails
  • Experience with MongoDB and the Ruby library Mongoid
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies
  • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS and the DOM
  • Full system life cycle development, and system quality assurance
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • The ability to effectively work independently and in a team
